The festival is organised solely by volunteers and almost exclusively financed through donations and your participant fees. The average cost for each participant is more than 400.00 € (that also applies to children). Almost all participant spaces are subsidised up to 50% for adults and up to 83% for children. Children between 0 ad 3 years take part at no charge. Our goal is to enable as many people as possible to have an unforgettable Limmud experience, therefore every donation helps!

Even though Limmud is organized by volunteers, the event also costs money. We are grateful for any help you can give.

Limmud e.V. is registered as a non-profit in Berlin. Any donations are tax-deductible. Donations are also possible from outside Europe – ask us.

For contributions up to 100 Euro, your bank statement serves as a receipt. For contributions over 100 Euro, we will send you a receipt, if you provide your postal address.
